Mbah Kasbi (98) namanya, kakek berusia hampir seabad di Jalan Trunojoyo Gang Mayang 1 Kabupaten Ngawi, Jawa Timur, ini masih tersenyum saat kami mendatangi rumahnya Sambil terbaring lemah, Kasbi bercerita bahwa saat ini badannya sulit digerakan.

“Kalau seperti capek-capek itu sudah beberapa tahun lalu, tapi kalau badan tidak bisa digerakan sudah sembilan bulan ini,” ujarnya, Kamis (12/9/2019).

Mbah Kasbi merasa tulang punggungnya terasa sakit jika digunakan untuk duduk.

Kedua kakinya juga terasa kaku untuk digunakan berjalan.

Saat ini kakek yang pernah bekerja sebagai penabuh gamelan dan menarik becak ini tinggal sendirian di rumahnya yang sudah reyot dan bocor di sana sini.

Anak keduanya setiap hari mulai pukul 09.00 pagi akan mengantarkan sebungkus makanan, setelah itu Mbah Kasbi akan kembali sendirian di rumahnya.

Mbah Kasbi hanya bisa bergeser di samping ranjang jika ingin buang air.



Di kamar tak berdinding yang di tempatinya itu, tergeletak ember dan baskom yang menyebarkan bau pesing dan bau tak sedap lainnya yang diletakkan di bawah ranjang.

“Saya tinggal sendiri, kalau mau buang air besar atau kecil ya cuma bisa geser saja di samping ranjang,” ujarnya.

Kasbi pernah tiga kali terjatuh saat berusaha berjalan ke belakang rumahnya untuk buang air.

Berjam jam dia mengaku hanya bisa terlentang di lantai semen yang sudah berbulan bulan tak tersentuh sapu, menunggu pertolongan dari tetangga.

Beruntung saat itu putra keduanya datang dan memberi pertolongan.

“Mau jalan pelan-pelan tapi jatuh di depan lemari. Ya hanya tergeletak diam di lantai enggak pakai apa-apa. Sudah tiga kali saya jatuh sampai kepala saya terbentur tiang rumah. Biasanya kalau begitu teriak minta tolong kalau ada bunyi kendaraan lewat,” katanya.

Mbah Kasbi memiliki empat anak dari pernikahannya. Namun, tiga dari empat anaknya memilih tinggal di kota lain.

Sementara anak kedua memilih hidup bersama anak dan istri di desa lain.

Meski tinggal di kota yang sama dan setiap hari bertemu dengan anaknya, Mbah Kasbi mengaku tidak tahu dimana tempat tinggal anaknya itu.

Anak pertama Mbah Kasbi tinggal di Tulungagung, anak yang ketiga tinggal di Banten, sementara anak terakhir menetap di Tangerang.

Untuk kebutuhan makan, anak kedua Kasbi yang selama ini mengantar makanan setiap pukul 09.00 WIB.

Makanan tersebut diletakkan di atas kasur di samping Kasbi.

Kasbi mengaku tidak tahu kenapa keempat anaknya tidak ada yang mau tinggal di rumah yang ditinggalinya.

Dulu anak keduanya bersama istri dan kedua anaknya sempat tinggal bersama Kasbi.


Namun sejak Kasbi mulai sakit sakitan, anaknya juga memilih meninggalkan Kasbi dan tinggal di daerah lain meski masih di kawasan Kota Ngawi.

“Saya sendiri tidak tahu mengapa mereka tidak mau tinggal dengan saya,” katanya pasrah.

Mbah Kasbi mengaku hanya bisa pasrah dengan keadaannya saat ini.

Dia hanya bisa tiduran dan tidak bisa lagi berjalan. Sudah sembilan bulan dia mengaku sama sekali tak tersentuh air.

“Saya pengennya itu mandi. Sudah sembilan bulan sama sekali tidak tersentuh air. Tapi mau bagaimana, keadaan saya begini,” ucapnya.

Sejak tinggal sendirian dan sakit sakitan, sejumlah tetangga yang tinggal di sekitar rumah Mbah Kasbi iba dan sesekali membantu dengan memberikan makanan atau membantu membersihkan rumah yang sudah sangat kotor.
