Menteri Luar Negeri RI Retno Marsudi mengatakan, dirinya telah berbicara langsung dengan 14 Anak Buah Kapal (ABK) berwarga negara Indonesia (WNI) yang bekerja di kapal China guna mendapatkan informasi tentang pengalaman mereka bekerja di kapal perikanan yang dijalankan perusahaan China.

Mereka sudah tiba di Jakarta pada Jumat (8/5) pukul 15.15 dengan selamat.

“Saya menanyakan kesehatan mereka dan meminta mereka memberikan penjelasan megenai apa yang mereka alami selama bekerja di kapal tersebut. Informasi dari para ABK ini akan sangat penting bagi kita untuk menindaklanjuti kasus ini dengan pihak perusahaan,” ujar Retno dalam press briefing secara virtual, Ahad (10/5).



Beberapa informasi awal yang diperoleh dari para ABK antara lain, pertama terdapat permasalahan gaji.

Sebagian dari mereka, kata Retno belum menerima gaji sama sekali, sedangkan sebagian lainnya telah menerima gaji tetapi tak sesuai dengan angka di dalam kontrak yang mereka tandatangani awalnya.

“Informasi lain yang saya peroleh dari mereka adalah mengenai jam kerja yang tidak manusiawi, rata-rata mereka mengalami kerja lebih dari 18 jam per hari,” kata Retno.

Menurutnya, keterangan para ABK WNI ini sangat bermanfaat untuk dicocokkan dengan informasi-informasi yang telah diterima.

Sebab terdapat banyak informasi yang terkonfirmasi dan ada pula informasi baru yang dapat melengkapi informasi awal yang telah diterima Retno.

Dalam hal ini, Retno juga telah bertemu dengan penyidik Bareskrim yang tengah mendalami kasus ini.

“Indonesia akan memaksimalkan penggunaan mekanisme kerja sama hukum dengan otoritas China dalam penyelesaian kasus ini,” kata Retno.

Indonesia juga meminta China untuk terus memberikan kerja sama yang baik dengan otoritas Indonesia dalam rangka penyelesaian kasus tersebut.

Dalam kesempatan ini, Retno mengatakan, satu jenazah ABK WNI dengan inisial EP yang mengalami sakit di Rumah Sakit Busan, Korea Selatan (Korsel) juga telah tiba di Jakarta bersama dengan 14 ABK WNI.

Jenazah telah diterbangkan Sabtu (9/5) pada pukul 12.42 menuju Kuala Namu.

Hari ini, Retno menjelaskan jenazah akan menuju rumah duka. Retno juga mengakui telah berbicara kepada ayah almarhum EP untuk memberikan rasa duka yang mendalam dan berjanji akan menemui pihak keluarga untuk membawa barang-barang pribadi EP.

“Pemerintah akan bekerja keras agar hak-hak almarhum yang belum terpenuhi dapat segera diselesaikan oleh perusahaan,” ujar Retno.

Dari kasus ini, duta besar (Dubes) Indonesia di Beijing juga dikatakannya telah melakukan pertemuan kembali dengan Dirjen Asia Kementerian Luar Negeri China.

Hal itu pun sebagai upaya tindak lanjut Kemenlu RI dengan Dubes China di Jakarta pada saat merebaknya kasus itu.

Dari pertemuan tersebut, pemerintah hCina menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya memberikan perhatian khusus atas kejadian ABK dan sedang melakukan investigasi pada perusahaan perikanan China yang mempekerjakan ABK WNI.

Retno kembali menegaskan Indonesia mengutuk perlakuan yang tidak manusiwai yang dialami para ABK WNI selama bekerja di kapal-kapal milik perusahaan China.

Berdasarkan informasi atau keterangan dari para ABK, maka perlakuan ini telah mencederai hak-hak manusia.
