R diketahui tinggal di Taladilau, Kelurahan Talaka, Kecamatan Ma'rang, Kabupaten Pangkep, Sulawesi Selatan.

Ia adalah seorang penjaja makanan pastel atau jalangkote di jalan sebelah utara Lapangan Bonto-bonto, Ma'rang.

Kini, wajah R sumringah lagi.

Melansir dari TribunWow ( grup TribunJatim.com ), sebelumnya R mendapat perundungan dari beberapa pemuda yang melintas pada Minggu (17/5/2020).

Kejadian yang terekam kamera tersebut kemudian menjadi viral di media sosial dan mendapat kecaman dari warganet.

Tidak lama kemudian, perhatian mengalir pada R termasuk dari komunitas sosial IAM Centre Pangkep.

Seorang perwakilan IAM Centre, Saifulla Bonto, memberikan hadiah berupa paket sembako dan sepeda baru untuk R.

Hal tersebut diunggah dalam akun Facebook Saifullah Bonto, Minggu (17/5/2020).

"Alhamdulillah malam ini teman-teman IAM Centre berkesempatan mengunjungi langsung kediaman adik kita R yang jadi korban bullying dan memberikan sedikit bantuan berupa paket sembako dan sepeda baru," tulis Saifullah Bonto, dikutip TribunJatim.com, Senin (18/5/2020).

Ia juga mengunggah beberapa foto momen pemberian sembako tersebut kepada R dan keluarganya.

R tampak berdiri di tengah dan diapit kedua orang tuanya.

Wajahnya tampak berseri-seri setelah mendapat hadiah sepeda baru.

"Semoga ini bisa bermanfaat dan menjadi penyemangat untuk keluarga," lanjut Saifullah.

Bantuan tersebut diterima R dan keluarganya pada malam pukul 24.00 WITA seusai menjalani pemeriksaan di Polres Pangkep.

Pemeriksaan tersebut terkait dengan tindakan perundungan yang dialami R.

"Kami berikan jam 12 malam tadi, kami menunggu Rizal pulang dari Polres," kata Saifullah, dikutip dari Tribunnews.com, Senin (18/5/2020).

Ia menyebutkan mendapatkan informasi perundungan tersebut.

Oleh karena komunitasnya tengah melakukan aksi bagi-bagi sembako di sekitar daerah tersebut, mereka juga berinisiatif memberikan bantuan kepada keluarga R.

"Kebetulan IAM Centre kemarin sedang membagikan paket sembako di daerah Ma'rang, pas kami kembali ke Posko ternyata sudah viral," kata Saifullah.

"Toko sepeda sudah pada tutup tapi alhamdulillah ada channel kami yang memiliki stok sepeda," lanjutnya.

Saifullah mengungkapkan alasan ingin memberikan bantuan sembako dan sepeda bagi R.

"Ini sebagai penyemangat," ungkapnya.

Menurut Saifullah, keluarga R tergolong kurang mampu.

"R anak nomor 2 dari 3 bersaudara," kata Saifullah.

R diketahui menjajakan jalangkote berkeliling menggunakan sepeda.

"R berjualan untuk membantu ekonomi keluarga," jelasnya.



Sebelumnya beredar video perundungan yang dilakukan delapan pemuda terhadap R.

Saat itu bocah kelas 5 SD ini yang tengah menjajakan dagangannya diadang para pemuda di persimpangan jalan sekitar pukul 17.30 WITA.

Akibatnya, ia terkejut sampai terjatuh bersama sepedanya ke tanah berumput.

Setelah ia jatuh, para pemuda itu tidak berhenti merundung.

Mereka kembali memukul dan mendorong R sampai tersungkur di selokan lapangan.

Sementara itu, tampak pemuda lainnya tertawa menyaksikan kejadian itu.

Setelah kejadian itu menjadi viral di media sosial, kepolisian setempat berupaya mengambil tindakan terhadap para perundung.

Hal tersebut disampaikan Kapolsek Ma'rang Iptu Sofyanto.
