“Saya ingat banget lompat dari bagang itu jam 22.10, terus sampe pulau jam 00.10. Itu cuma modal bambu 4 biji yang tingginya tiga meter,” tuturnya.

Setibanya di Sumur, Risman disajikan dengan pemandangan yang mengerikan. Kala itu, apa yang dia pikirkan hanyalah istri dan anaknya yang belum diketahui keberadaannya.

“Nah sampe sini geh saya lihat, sudah gak ada apa-apa, kapal-kapal sudah pada hanyut ke darat semua. Saya lari, waduh saya juga nginjak jenazah karena memang gelap, gak ada lampu. Jalan pun susah karena (terhalang) rumput dan puing-puing,” jelas dia dengan dialek Sunda khas Banten.
