"Kami lagi nongkrong lihat Seventeen manggung. Posisinya, aku dan adik aku lagi duduk, Dylan sama adiknya berdiri. Jadi, kami lumayan agak di belakang," ujar Cynthia Wijaya saat Grid.ID jumpai di Komplek DPR-RI, Kalibata, Jakarta Selatan, Sabtu (29/12/2018).

Cynthia melihat air yang menulang tinggi seolah ingin memakan mereka. Saat Cynthia dan Dylan berbalik badan dan lari, nahasnya gelombang air tersebut menggulung mereka.

"Tiba-tiba, aku sempat lihat air posisinya sudah di atas panggung, seperti mau makan kami. Detik itu juga, aku dan yang lainnya sempat mau balik badan, coba lari. Tetapi, sudah enggak bisa dan langsung terbawa air,” ungkap Cynthia.

Saat ombak besar menyapu dirinya, Cynthia langsung memeluk pohon dan Dylan langsung berpisah darinya.

"Kalau aku pribadi, jadi aku pas berusaha menyelamatkan diri masih dikasih kesempatan menyelamatkan diri sama Allah, Alhamdulillah. Pas aku berusaha naik, aku langsung dapetin kepala aku keluar, terus aku langsung peluk pohon biar aku gak kebawa sama air," ungkap Cynthia.

"Dan aku pribadi menolong atau siapa pun yang menolong Dylan, itu memang satu hal yang enggak bisa. Mungkin, kalau kami gandengan tangan pun, pastinya nanti lepas juga. Jadi, memang enggak bisa tolong menolong, karena air itu datang (tiba-tiba)," lanjutnya.

Sebelumnya, Cynthia juga pernah mengunggah sesuatu di akun instagram miliknya yang berisikan harapan untuk keselamatan Dylan, istri Ifan.

Istri Riedhan ini pun mengungkapkan harapannya untuk bisa selamat bersama adik iparnya ini.
