Penangkapan itu diduga karena Bahar mengundang massa saat berceramah dan tidak mematuhi physical distancing di hari saat dia bebas pada Sabtu (16/5).

Kabar penangkapan Bahar dibenarkan oleh Ketua Persaudaraan Alumni 212 Slamet Maarif. Dia mengatakan Bahar ditangkap sekitar pukul 03.30 WIB, Selasa (19/2).



“Ya saya barusan jam 03.30 dapat kabar dari santrinya,” kata Slamet kepada CNNIndonesia.com, Selasa (19/5).

Slamet belum mau menjelaskan secara rinci mengapa Bahar kembali ditangkap meski baru bebas berkat asimilasi.

“Saya mau tanya ke pengacara pagi ini,” ucap Slamet.

Imam Front Pembela Islam (FPI) DKI Jakarta Habib Muchsin Alatas sempat mengunggah status berisi pesan singkat dari Bahar ihwal penangkapannya.

Bahar mengaku menulis pesan itu saat dalam perjalanan menuju lapas.

Dalam pesan singkat, Bahar mengaku dijemput pada pukul 02.00 WIB untuk kembali masuk tahanan. Dia tidak dibawa ke Lapas Pondok Rajeg, Cibinong, tempat sebelumnya ia menjalani masa hukuman, melainkan ke Lapas Gunung Sindur.

“Karena ceramah saya waktu malam saya bebas,” kata Bahar lewat pesan singkat yang diunggah Habib Muchsin Alatas.

Pihak Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia (Kemenkumham) belum memberikan pernyataan terkait hal ini.



Diketahui, Bahar bin Smith bebas dari Lapas Pondok Rajeg pada Sabtu lalu (16/5).

Dia bebas dari tahanan dijemput oleh pengacara Aziz Yanuar dan Ketua PA 212 Slamet Maarif dan beberapa orang lainnya.

Bahar langsung menuju kediamannya di Pondok Pesantren Tajul Aliwiyin kawasan Kampung Kemang, Kecamatan Kemang, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat.

Kedatangannya disambut banyak orang. Terutama para santri yang selama ini menuntut ilmu di pondok pesantrennya.

Mereka yang menyambut Bahar tidak mematuhi imbauan physical distancing  di tengah pandemi virus corona. Tidak ada yang menjaga jarak satu sama lain.

Bahar lalu mendapat peringatan dari petugas pemasyarakatan karena langsung menggelar kegiatan di Pondok Pesantren Tajul Alawiyyin, Kemang, Kabupaten Bogor, setelah bebas bersyarat lewat program asimilasi. Menurutnya itu melanggar Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB).

“Setelah kejadian itu maka saya perintahkan petugas (pemasyarakatan) untuk menelepon yang bersangkutan. Mengingatkan bahwa bagaimana pencegahan Covid-19 saat masa PSBB, jadi tidak boleh mengumpulkan massa yang banyak,” kata Kepala Divisi Pemasyarakatan Kementerian Hukum dan HAM Jawa Barat, Abdul Aris, Senin (18/5) dikutip dari Antara.

Aris mengaku sudah mengingatkan Bahar agar tidak membuat kegiatan yang mengundang massa di pondok pesantrennya tersebut.

Selain itu, Bahar juga diminta untuk mengimbau para jemaahnya agar turut membantu pencegahan Covid-19.

“Ya melanggar khusus secara administratif, karena PSBB kan tidak boleh mengumpulkan massa. Kami mengingatkan supaya tidak diulang lagi,” kata dia.

Namun, pada malam harinya, Bahar justru menggelar kegiatan yang mengundang banyak orang.
