“Daging babi juga berisiko menyebabkan infeksi parasit (parasitnya berupa cacing pita dan cacing Truchinella spiralis), sehingga tidak boleh dikonsumsi mentah atau setengah matang,” ujar Inge saat dihubungi terpisah oleh Kompas.com, Rabu (13/5/2020).

Inge juga mewajibkan agar tidak terkena infeksi dari parasit, sebaiknya daging harus dimasak matang.

Hal inilah yang membedakan antara daging babi dengan daging sapi. Menurut Inge, daging sapi dapat dimakan setengah matang atau mentah.

Terkait penyakit yang disebabkan oleh cacing pita, dokter spesialis ahli gizi, DR dr Samuel Oetoro menjelaskan, ada sejumlah gejala yang timbul bagi seseorang yang terinfeksi parasit cacing pita.
