Namun, kata dia, caranya saja mau kembali secara baik-baik dengan melakukan sedekah, atau harta yang dimiliki digunakan jajan sesuatu yang tidak bermanfaat.

“Atau mungkin kita tidak pernah sedekah, sombong segala macam. Maka, Allah akan ambil itu secara paksa dikasih bencana kepada dia,” ujarnya.

Bagi Koh Steven, sapaan akrabnya, harta hanyalah titipan Allah SWT dan yang namanya titipan pasti akan kembali. Maka hanya ada dua, kembali dalam keadaan dipaksa karena suatu musibah dan sebagainya atau mengembalikannya dalam bentuk sedekah.

“Saya memilih mengembalikan ini dengan cara yang baik. Ini harta pinjaman dari Allah, saya cuma ingin balikin, momennya sekarang lagi bagus. Ya sudah aku balikin aja. Karena cepat atau lambat itu akan kembali, dan akan Allah minta pertanggungjawaban,” kata dia.

Koh Steven menjelaskan, Rasulullah SAW pun pernah memperingatkan orang-orang, bahwa ada dua hal yang tidak disukai anak Adam. Pertama, kematian, padahal ini lebih baik daripada fitnah.

Kedua, adalah kefakiran atau kemiskinan. Padahal dengan sedikitnya harta, maka sedikit pula yang dihisab pada hari akhir nanti.

“Aku berpatokan pada hal itu saja, ya sudahlah ini balikin saja. Dulu waktu saya mualaf juga dibikin miskin kok. Dan Allah bisa bikin saya seperti sampai kemarin. Tidak akan sulit bagi Allah mengembalikanku ke posisi kemarin. Yang penting kan tauhidnya kita, yakin Allah akan cukupin itu semua,” katanya.

Koh Steven telah menjual dua rumah, tujuh mobil, tiga motor gede alias moge miliknya. Harta yang tersisa kini tinggal satu rumah di Salatiga, yang masih menunggu pemilik barunya.

“Sisa satu rumah ini, yang lagi ditawarin, dan satu motor Beat yang saya pakai,” katanya.

Selama dua bulan belakangan, Koh Steven tinggal di Yogyakarta di sebuah rumah kontrakan bersama tim yang terdiri dari 11 orang. Sedangkan istrinya berada di Bandung tinggal bersama orang tuanya.

“Istri saya numpang di rumah mertuaku. Aku di Yogyakarta sudah dari Februari, jadi memang sudah prepare (bersiap),” ucapnya.

Dengan dana yang dia miliki, Koh Steven telah memproduksi 48 ribu pakaian hazmat untuk dibagikan secara gratis ke 4.781 fasilitas kesehatan di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Fasilitas kesehatan dimaksud meliputi rumah sakit umum daerah, rumah sakit swasta, hingga puskesmas.



“Sampai ke tempat pemakaman umum kita kirim hazmat juga, untuk mereka yang memakamkan korban meninggal. Dan yang boleh minta itu hanya fasilitas kesehatan dengan tenaga kesehatan yang resmi. Dokter dan perawat yang resmi,” ujarnya.

Selain memproduksi hazmat, Koh Steven juga telah memasang surgical gown ke 43 ribu pakaian Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) sumbangan yang diterima banyak rumah sakit. Surgical gown ini dipasang karena APD sumbangan tersebut belum berstandar WHO.

“Daripada tidak bisa dipakai, mereka minta memasang surgical gown di bagian dalam hazmat, supaya di bagian yang dijahit itu jika virus masuk maka ditahan surgical gown. Karena kan tidak boleh dijahit, agar tidak tembus,” tuturnya.

Sebelum memproduksi hazmat, Koh Steven terlebih dulu memproduksi masker. Total masker yang telah diproduksi dan dibagikan secara gratis sebanyak 150 ribu masker, 12 ribu di antaranya merupakan masker N95 yang tujuh lapis dan sisanya masker medis tiga lapis.

Saat ini, pun dia sedang memproduksi 60 ribu masker medis dan 8.000 masker N95.

“Setelah masker, baru ke (memproduksi) hazmat, tetapi saat itu butuh uang lagi, lalu saya jual mobil satu per satu,” ujar dia.

Total nilai uang yang telah Koh Steven gelontorkan untuk memproduksi APD berstandar WHO, memasang surgical gown pada APD, dan masker mencapai Rp 11,2 miliar.

“Kalau sama mesin (beli impor untuk produksi) itu sekitar Rp 12,8 miliar,” kata dia.

Tak hanya hazmat dan masker, Koh Steven juga membagikan gratis total 80 ribu liter hand sanitizer, ribuan paket sembako dan makanan siap saji.

Hingga kini total paket sembako yang telah dibagikan sebanyak 120 ribu paket. Sedangkan total paket makanan siap santap yang dibagikan gratis ke seluruh Indonesia, 560 ribu paket.
