Polisi menyebut peredaran daging babi yang dijual seolah daging sapi ini sudah berlangsung hampir setahun.



Hal tersebut diungkapkan Kapolresta Bandung Kombes Hendra Kurniawan saat konferensi pers terkait penangkapan di Mapolresta Bandung.

“Kita ungkap ini supaya tidak terulang, sudah hampir setahun,” kata Hendra, Senin (11/5/2020).

Keempat penjual daging babi tersebut yakni T (54), MP (46), AR (38) dan AS (39).

Pelaku MP dan T ditangkap di kediamannya di Kampung Lembang, Desa Kiangroke, Kecamatan Banjaran, Kabupaten Bandung.

Polisi juga menyita 500 kilogram daging babi yang tersimpan di dalam lemari pendingin (freezer).

Tak hanya itu, di lokasi yang sama polisi juga menangkap AS yang datang hendak membeli daging babi tersebut.

Sedangkan, AR ditangkap di kediamannya di Kampung Pejagalan, Desa Majakerta, Kecamatan Majalaya, Kabupaten Bandung.

Polisi juga menyita daging babi yang disimpan di dalam pendingin.



“Kita mengamankan lebih kurang 600 kilogram. Sebanyak 500 kilogram yang masih utuh kita sita dari freezer itu. Kemudian yang 100 kilogram kita sita dari para pengecernya,” kata Hendra.

Menurut Hendra, para pedagang menjual daging babi itu dengan mengklaimnya sebagai daging sapi di pasar-pasar melalui pengecer dengan harga Rp 70.000-Rp 90.000 per kilogramnya.

Menurut Hendra ada teknik khusus yang dilakukan para pelaku untuk merubah warna daging babi ini seolah seperti daging sapi.

“Ada tekniknya dengan menggunakan boraks ini. Diolah kemudian menyerupai daging sapi dan dijual seharga daging sapi,” ucap Hendra.

Hendra mengimbau kepada masyarakat agar tidak resah dengan adanya informasi ini.

Saat ini polisi telah menyita ratusan kilogram daging babi tersebut.
