“Mau makan apa, tidak ada juga.  Mau makan ikan, (tapi) tidak ada juga. Kadang 10 hari tidak ada, jadi makan daun pepaya.  Kalau ada jagung, (saya)  makan jagung juga, siapa yang mau bantu saya, tidak ada uang,” kata Wa Ance, Kamis (14/5/2020).

Wa Ance mengaku ia sudah tidak bisa melihat lagi sejak ia berumur 15 tahun.

Sebelumnya ia hidup berdua dengan seorang adiknya, namun adiknya sudah meninggal dunia.

Sehingga untuk memenuhi kehidupan sehari-harinya, ia terkadang mendapat bantuan dari tetangga dan  warga sekitarnya.

Bahkan, Wa Ance juga pernah tidak makan sesuatu selama satu hari karena tidak punya uang untuk beli beras atau pun jagung.

“(Pernah) tidak ada jagung dan tidak ada beras, tidak ada saya makan. Cuma makan garam, malam sudah lapar kadang minum air putih saja,” ujarnya.

Wa Ance mengaku selama ini, dirinya tidak pernah mendapatkan bantuan dari pemerintah seperti BLT dan PKH.



Sementara itu, Nenek Wa Ance, baru dibuatkan KTP yang dilakukan langsung oleh 2 orang petugas Discapil di rumahnya.

Ia juga terkadang mendapatkan uang dari upahnya mengurut anak tetangga dan juga anak kecil. Uangnya ia belikan beras ataupun jagung.

Terpisah, Lurah Katobengke, Irsyad Cahyadin, membenarkan bila nenek Wa Ance tidak terdaftar sebagai penerima bantuan BLT dan PKH.
