Ketika dikonfirmasi, Kasubdit Regident Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Sumardji, menjelaskan, kemungkinan seperti itu, tetapi belum bisa diputuskan sekarang ini.

"Sambil menunggu petunjuk pelaksanaan dari Korlantas Polri. Jadi masyarakat khususnya warga DKI Jakarta bisa memanfaatkan bebas denda administrasi sampai 15 Desember 2018 ini," ujar Sumardji, Senin (10/12/2018).

Kata Sumardji, tahun depan akan dimulai dengan tahap diskusi, sosialisasi, sampai menunggu petunjuk atau arahan dari Korlantas Polri.

"Sebab secara aturan harus dari Korlantas. Sejauh ini masyarakat yang punya tunggakan pajak sudah cukup banyak yang mulai membayar dan memanfaatkan program pemutihan atau bebas denda," kata Sumardji, yang dilansir oleh tribunjualbeli.com

Aturan tersebut kata Sumardji sudah mengacu dan sesuai dengan UU 22 tahun 2009 dan Perkap 5 tahun 2012.

Penghapusan Regident Ranmor adalah bentuk sanksi administratif bagi pemilik Ranmor yang tidak melakukan registrasi ulang atau memperpanjang masa berlaku STNK sekurang-kurangnya 2 (dua) tahun sejak masa berlaku STNK habis berdasarkan data Regident Ranmor pada Polri.

Pasal 110 ayat 1

Ranmor yang telah diregistrasi dapat dihapus dari daftar Regident Ranmor atas dasar:

1. permintaan pemilik Ranmor;
2. pertimbangan pejabat Regident Ranmor; atau

3. pertimbangan pejabat yang berwenang di bidang perizinan penyelenggaraan angkutan umum.

Pasal 114

1. Penghapusan Regident Ranmor sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 110 dilakukan dengan memberikan catatan atau tanda cap stempel “dihapus” pada Kartu Induk dan Buku Register pada Regident Ranmor Kepemilikan dan Pengoperasian Ranmor, pada pangkalan data komputer, serta pada fisik BPKB dan STNK Ranmor yang dihapus.

2. Registrasi Ranmor yang sudah dinyatakan dihapus sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (1) tidak dapat diregistrasi kembali.
